Our top-of-the-line MP wheel offers the combination of lightness and rigidity that the most demanding riders require.
The front and rear wheels have specific rims, carefully adjusted to the different demands of each wheel, offering greater performance with less weight. Fully compatible with tubeless tires from the start, the hookless rims feature our pinch-flat protection that increases puncture resistance.
If each wheel performs a different function and is subject to different forces, why do most brands try to sell you the same rim for both the front and rear wheels?
In tubeless wheels, when the tire is pinched between an external object and the rim's sidewall, cuts can occur. By increasing the width of the rim profile in these areas, we significantly reduce the likelihood of these typical punctures.
Asymmetric rims allow us to balance spoke length and tension. In short, they involve fewer spoke sizes, more balanced tensions, and more durable and reliable wheels.
By matching the angle of the spoke hole with the angle at which the spoke exits the rim, we significantly reduce tension at the spoke nipple. While applying this technology requires additional design and manufacturing work, the result is a much more reliable wheel with fewer spoke breakages.
This is one of the most stressed points of the rim. By reinforcing these areas, we increase the rim's reliability without adding excessive weight.
In our reliability tests, J-BEND spokes show a considerable increase in fatigue resistance, resulting in a truer wheel and greater durability.
We apply a thread locker to each nipple separately. This liquid creates greater friction between the threaded part of the spoke and the nipple, eliminating air between them, ensuring that the spoke does not lose tension and allows for adjustments if necessary.
Hookless rims have straight sidewalls instead of a hooked design. The main advantage is their reduced weight, but we have also measured a significant improvement in impact resistance thanks to our wide bead design.
