For long and fast rides on varied terrain with great versatility, the 29” wheels are the perfect choice for the Laufey. The wide tires (2.6”) provide a larger contact surface, meaning greater grip. By increasing the number of contact points with the ground at any moment, it improves braking control and cornering traction.

We work on the shape and thickness of our aluminum tubes to increase their strength and resistance to unwanted torsion. To save weight, many of the tubes are tapered in the middle section, away from the stress of joints and welds. The use of advanced technologies similar to those applied in our carbon production ensures unmatched performance in our aluminum bikes.

The internal cable routing is carefully introduced behind the head tube to prevent any rubbing or rattling.

*COLD FORGED*

To achieve maximum tire clearance and provide great stiffness, we create a patented cold forging for the chainstays, which is later finished using numerical control according to exact specifications.
