What sensations does the Orbea Spirit fork give us in the mountains?

Stiffness is the first sensation we get when we get on a bike with the Spirit fork. The more we demand it from the bike and the faster and harder we pedal, the more we will notice that stiffness that many of us long for in suspension forks, especially on climbs, long flats at high speed and when pedalling standing up.

The sensations we feel on our bike are unique. Speed is perhaps one of the most satisfying perceptions, and lightness and stiffness are also essential ingredients.

We present a fork that is compatible with any bike with 27.5" or 29" wheels and both with the possibility of accommodating tyres up to 2.8" in balloon.

With only 575 grams, the Spirit allows us to lighten our bike with front suspension by about 1 kilogram of weight, without altering the geometry. It's designed with a 480mm length that mimics the exact size of a 100mm travel fork set at 25% SAG.

To keep the smooth carbon lines flowing, the disc brake cable routing is internal, adding to the safety of always being protected and never getting in the way of the front wheel spinning. The front wheel is connected to the fork via a 15 millimetre thru axle with the possibility of using the current different widths: 100mm for conventional hubs and the new BOOST standard of 110 millimetres in length.
