In multiple tests, the Levo 4 cleared an extreme technical climb twice as often as its competitor. The Specialized Science Club carried out numerous tests to optimize the bike’s performance in real-world situations. In the extreme climbing test, the Levo 4 succeeded 92% of the time.

The S‑Works Levo 4 frame features 150 mm of rear travel, a carbon shock extension, adjustable geometry, and—for the first time on an e‑MTB—SWAT storage in the downtube. All designed with passion by riders for a unique riding experience.

First SWAT storage on an e‑MTB

Carry essential spares in the sealed SWAT storage system. Open the downtube lid and discover the Wattage Cottage: a spacious compartment that houses the standard 840 Wh battery and SWAT storage.

Specialized pioneered internal downtube storage and now brings it to one of our e‑MTBs. The SWAT bag is magnetically secured over the battery and lets you store what you need for your rides (e.g., a tube or CO2). If you go for the smaller 600 Wh battery, you'll have extra room for a jacket or other items. No frame offers this much storage. Sleek, clever, and adventure-ready.

Sizes tailored to your style, not your height

Our S‑Sizing system lets you choose the size that best matches your riding style. S‑Sizing is based on what matters: the rider’s style, not their body dimensions.

There are six sizes available, all with similar head tube and standover lengths, so you can pick the one that best suits your style. Smaller sizes are more agile, thanks to shorter reach and front center, while larger ones offer more stability and comfort.

Fork and Shock Tuned by Specialized Ride Dynamics

They grew up and became the Ride Dynamics division of the Specialized Science Club, using science to improve the ride for all of us. They develop all components of our full-suspension bikes, from frame kinematics to damping and custom suspension behavior. Nothing is “off the shelf.”

Advanced geometry, personalized control

Stock settings already make it the perfect bike, but it also offers multiple adjustments so you can customize it as you wish. The geometry of the Levo 4 makes it ride beautifully with the stock setup, combining big-bike capability with optimal control in tight sections. If you like, you can also easily adjust it to match your style.

1. The shock’s Flip Chip lets you change the bottom bracket height: lower for more stability and higher to keep the pedals farther from the ground.
2. The head angle can be adjusted to three positions—steeper for better maneuverability or slacker for more stability.
3. The chainstay Flip Chip adjusts the wheelbase: longer for more stability and shorter for better agility.

Mixed wheels, flawless handling

27.5” rear wheel for agility, 29” front wheel for going over anything. We wanted the Levo 4 to be the best-handling full-power e‑MTB in the world. That’s why we chose a mixed-wheel design. The 27.5” rear wheel improves handling, while the 29” front wheel helps you easily roll over any obstacle.

Ultra-efficient, unmatched range-to-weight ratio

The S‑Works 3.1 motor sets the standard for efficiency, offering the best range-to-weight ratio. Thanks to this motor’s incredible efficiency, you’ll go farther than ever. It has a 27:1 gear ratio that keeps the motor spinning at higher, more efficient cadences, unlike other motors that spin slower and drain the battery faster. We’ve also increased voltage and reduced current to minimize energy loss. The result? The best range-to-weight ratio on the market.

Configurable Battery System, you choose the power

The battery is interchangeable: use a larger one for long rides or a lighter one for more agility. Open the Wattage Cottage and discover the modular design of the battery system. The standard 840 Wh battery offers excellent range.

Need more? Add the 280 Wh Range Extender for up to 1120 Wh of capacity and limitless adventures. Prefer more agility? Go for the 600 Wh battery to lighten your bike. Plus, the Wattage Cottage opens from the side, making battery changes super easy. All batteries meet IP67 standards and are fully protected from water and dust.

Ultra-fast charger

Go from 0 to 80% in under an hour. If you want the fastest charging on the market, we offer a 12 A, 700 W smart charger that charges the 840 Wh battery from 0 to 80% in under an hour. It also has an Eco mode for ultra-efficient charging. The 80% charge option increases battery life when you don’t need a full charge or when storing the bike. Don’t want to buy the smart charger? No problem—the Levo 4 comes with an excellent 5 A, 200 W charger.
